Production process of paraffin granulator

The paraffin granulator has a large model size, high degree of automation in the production process, and is suitable for a wide range of raw materials, making it very suitable for investment and use by large central enterprises. To complete the granulation production, the paraffin granulator generally goes through the following process:

1. Storage, measurement, and mixing. The raw materials are transported to the storage bin by bucket elevator and belt conveyor. The number of storage bins, the complexity of measurement and mixing techniques, and the number of components in the product formula are related. During production, intermittent mixing operation is generally used. The raw materials of each component in the formula are weighed in the weighing bin, and after meeting the formula requirements, they are all added to the intermittent mixer for mixing. A balance bin is installed in the system, and other equipment after the balance bin operates continuously. Trace elements can also be added to the mixer. To ensure uniform particle distribution, high-strength mixers are selected. The mixed material and return material are lifted by a bucket elevator and mixed with the return material in a dual axis paddle mixer. The return material is the unqualified particles after crushing and screening, and the ratio of circulating material to new material is about 35:65.

2. Squeeze. The mixed raw materials are extruded by a roller type extruder, and the principle is to shape the materials through extrusion. The mixed material is fed into the gap between two rollers rotating in opposite directions through a vertical spiral feeder. During the extrusion process, the pressure on the material gradually increases. When the gap between the two shafts is at its minimum position, the material is compressed ****** and then gradually decreases until it reaches zero.

3. Broken and graded. The plates formed in the roller extruder need to be further crushed and graded to obtain the required particle size. The crushed raw materials are divided into oversized particles, product particles, and fine particles on a multi-stage sieve. The fine particles on the lowest sieve are recycled back to the mixer and then extruded into shape. The oversized particles that are trapped in the upper layer of the multi-stage sieve need to be further crushed. After crushing, return to screening.

4. Polishing and repairing. Under normal circumstances, the final product needs to undergo one to two steps of polishing and finishing. Irregular shaped particles are rounded at edges and corners using a grinding drum. The fine powder generated during the polishing process is sieved through a layer of sieve and circulated. When repairing, anti caking agents are usually added.

If it is the production of large particle materials for a single product, due to the elimination of weighing, measuring, raw material crushing, mixing and other processes, the process is simpler, which further reduces the investment of the paraffin granulator.
